Student Enrollment Report

The Student Enrollment report shows either the student enrollment or the credit hours by the level of detail selected. Enrollments can be selected by Campus, College, Department, Major and/or Minor, 2nd Major or Sub-Major. Enrollments can also be selected by sex, ethnicity, class level or undergraduate/graduate.

This web application was replaced with a Cognos report at the start of the Spring 2019 registration cycle (i.e., on or about March 11th, 2019). The Cognos report is located in the Public Folders ‎> Kent State University ‎> Student ‎> Official ‎> Student Records (Registrar) ‎> College ‎> University College folder labeled "SAAR-322 Non-Returning Report." If you don’t have access, please work with your data stewards to complete the Official Cognos Access form and return it to Access Management.

Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, the web application is being updated on Monday, Wednesday and Friday for the Spring 20 - Fall 20 cycle.

Newly Admitted Freshmen Tracking System Report

The Newly Admitted Tracking System shows students that have been admitted for a summer or fall term to the Kent Campus. The system allows for colleges and departments to generate lists of students for additional contact and track the types of contacts and responses. Additional information on DKS registration, fee payment and scholarship acceptance is also included.

Longitudinal Study: Freshmen Report

This report starts with the term of the students’ freshman fall term and shows the retention for the following fall terms.

Longitudinal Study: Graduate Doctoral/Professional Report

This report starts with the term of the students’ first doctoral or professional level fall term and shows the retention for the following fall terms.

Longitudinal Study: Graduate Masters Report

This report starts with the term of the students’ first master level fall term and shows the retention for the following fall terms.

Longitudinal Study: Transfer Report

This report starts with the term of the students’ first transfer fall term and shows the retention for the following fall terms.

Major Movement Report

The Major Movement report shows the movement of students from their original major to subsequent majors. The report starts with the term of the students’ freshman fall term and shows the major movement for the following fall terms. Campus, College or Major can be selected. The blue color gradient is meant to help with reading the report and does not have any other significance.

Retention Rates for the Kent Campus are based on the incoming fall cohort of full-time, first-time degree seeking students.

Regional Campus Retention Rates (pdf)

Retention Rates for the Regional Campus System are based on the incoming fall cohort of full- and part-time, first-time degree seeking students.

Degree Awarded Trend Report

This report lists degrees awarded by semester or year with several options on what to view in the report.

Kent Campus Graduation Rates (pdf)

Graduation Rates for the Kent Campus are based on the incoming fall cohort of full-time, first-time degree seeking students. Graduation rates are based on the number of students in that cohort receiving a baccalaureate degree in 4, 5, or 6 years.

Regional Completion Rates (pdf)

Completion Rates for the Kent State University Regional Campuses are based on the fall cohort of full-time, first-time degree seeking students. Completion rates are based on 6 years and include both associate degree and baccalaureate degree attainment. Time to first degree is included.
